My name is Michal Dvořák and I come from the Czech Republic. It is a small country in the middle of Europe. I was born in 1983 in the town of Pardubice. In the year 2002, I finished the grammar school in that town. During my studies at that school, I was interested mainly in physics, computers and electronics. Therefore, I decided to go to the Faculty of Electrical Engineering at the Czech Technical University in Prague. My specialization was called Technical Cybernetics. Cybernetics is a science which deals with system theory, control engineering, robotics and artificial intelligence.
My most favorite hobby is aeromodelling, because it connects sport with technical creativity. I began with models in early childhood. My first models ware small free flight gliders class A3 and F1H. I tried also some radio controlled models.
When I was 15 years old, I began with class F1A. I found that class the most interesting, because it is a sport discipline, and models are very nice and technically interesting. So, I began to fly in competitions. I participate in many championships, initially for juniors and later for seniors.
