USB Cable
This cable contains USB to UART Converter and enables to connect some device to the PC. It has an open collector output that is required by addressable UART interface. When the cable is plugged to the PC, a virtual COM port is designated for them.
The converter is based on FT232RQ chip from FTDI. This company provides also drivers for most of operating systems.

Cable Driver Installation
- Download and unzip the archive with the desired driver:
- Plug the cable to the PC.
- Windows will reports that there is a new device (USB Serial Converter).
- Select "Install from a specific location" and select the folder with downloaded driver.
- Windows will reports that there is a new device again (USB Serial Port).
- Select the folder with downloaded driver again.
- After successful installation a virtual COM port will appears in the Device Manager.
