I make the fuselage shell as one part in the mold. During lamination I make an overlap on both halves. I screw them together when epoxide is still soft. Thanks to making the whole fuselage in one glueing, the joint is very strong. This method is much better than making two halves separately and glueing them after hardening.
I make fuselages from carbon and glass fiber cloth. I tried also Kevlar fiber, but work with Kevlar is unpleasant and benefit is insignificant.
