This device is designed to help with model testing. It enables to send several commands to the Timer T10 via Radio Module RM1. The function depends on version of the Radio Module used in the model.
All commands from Radio Trimmer are forwarded to the timer. It enables model trimming and proportional control. This combination is intended only for model testing (not for contest flight). FAI rules doesn't allow it.
Black version Radio Module is intended for contest flight. So all trim and RC commands are ignored, but remote DT still works. It works also as a wireless programming console for model adjustment before the flight.
Radio Trimmer enables to adjust all parameters of Timer T10 wirelessly. It works similar to programing console Setuper 2, but messages are sending via radio modules.
Press User Menu or Service Menu button while powering on to enter the required menu in Timer T10.
Press SET button while powering on to configure parameters of Radio Trimmer (LCD backlight, potentiometers dead-band, etc).
Timer T10 sends the Flight Time Message to the Radio Module each second and Radio Trimmer can receive and show it on LCD. The message contains:

You can trim all deflections during tow and glide. In tow mode, both forward and circle trim is adjustable. Model replies to the trim command by text message, which includes the name and value of trimmed deflection. For example:
If you are satisfied with actual trims, you can save them by SAVE button. If not, you can restore previous saved values by RESTORE button.
The remote trimming enables to trim new model very quickly during one flight in calm weather!!!
For proportional model control press RC button. Now you can control the model by two linear slide potentiometers for rudder and stabilizer.
Neutral values for stabilizer, rudder and wing are stored in the timer as well as the span of deflections. It is possible to set new neutral deflections during the flight. Trim the model in RC mode for direct flight and press SAVE button.
If you press RC button again or connection is lost, the model immediately restores deflections for normal glide.
Construction is based on the same PCB board as Setuper 2 has. For wireless communication there is Radio Module RM1 with special firmware.
